By opting in to receive text messages from Black Parents Forum (BPF), you agree to receive recurring informational and promotional SMS or MMS messages from BPF. Messages may include event reminders, registration updates, schedule changes, private-school admissions resources, program announcements and related BPF information.

You must provide affirmative consent through an unchecked opt-in box, a text-to-join keyword or another documented opt-in method. Providing your mobile telephone number alone does not enroll you in the BPF text message program.

Consent to receive text messages is not required to register for a BPF event, use BPF resources or make a purchase.

Message frequency varies depending on the BPF programs and events for which you register or express interest.

Message and data rates may apply according to the terms of your mobile telephone plan. BPF does not charge a separate fee for text messages.

You may cancel BPF text messages at any time by replying STOP. After you send STOP, you may receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You will no longer receive BPF text messages unless you opt in again.

Text-message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

BPF does not sell mobile information. Mobile telephone numbers and SMS opt-in data or consent records will not be shared with participating schools, affiliates or other third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes.

BPF may provide information to service providers that support delivery of BPF text messages, subject to appropriate confidentiality and use limitations, or when disclosure is required by law.
